· The practice of microfinance, looking at the different methodologies in delivery

· The interpretation of financial statements for MFBs and ratios to look out for

· A detailed look at risks inherent in MFBs and ways of managing such risks

· How to ensure that your products are needed and used in your target market.

q Know the role and responsibilities of credit officers

q Understand credit delivery process in different methodologies

q Perform loan analysis using 5C’s and 3R’s; verify and use the information

q Build, maintain and supervise a portfolio

Training for Credit Committee of Microfinance Banks

Board Members would undertake SWOT analysis of the Institutions

Participants would acquire first hand understanding of Microfinance, the Micro-entrepreneur and Credit Delivery Process. Sessions on Performing Loan Analysis and

Portfolio Management would be treated and Roles of the Board / Credit Committee clearly outlined

Guidelines to Developing Roles and Responsibility of the Credit Committee would be discussed.

1. Non residential

N25, 000 per participant

2. Residential

N45, 000 per participant for 3 or more bookings from the same institution
